Tandem Artists

TANDEM ARTISTS
delivering communication, representation, and strategy for artists who create genuine, transformative experiences on stage.

Tandem Artists® is part of Tecla Studio & Mgmt SL.

SHARING THE MUSIC THROUGH YOUR OWN TRUTH.

Tandem Artists was founded in Madrid with a clear goal: to accompany prominent names in classical music, projecting and strengthening each step of their careers. Whether through communication, representation, or both, we provide personalized strategies to position or solidify our artists as true leaders in the world of classical music.

We work with those who don’t just perform, but who feel and deeply reflect on music, creating an authentic experience in every performance. Our vision is to amplify their truth and bring it to a present and diverse audience, never losing their essence, season after season, throughout the whole year.

We offer a wide range of exclusive services: from relationships with both general and specialized media outlets, to coordination with musical entities, partner brands, and the management of a unique digital identity. We handle strategy and project production, social media, web services, and contract management and representation.

Gonzalo Lahoz

Founder & Creative Director

With over fifteen years bringing classical music to a wide and diverse audience, Gonzalo Lahoz founded Tandem Artists in 2025, following an extensive career linked to the recording industry, communication, and the stages.

Behind numerous audiovisual projects, he has conducted more than 500 interviews and collaborated with various media outlets, eventually founding Platea Magazine, where he served on the editorial board until that same year. In parallel, he writes, presents, and gives lectures at universities and major musical institutions across Spain. In 2022, he created Concierto Desorden, the most widely listened-to classical music podcast in Spanish, still active after five seasons and more than 130 episodes.

He loses and finds himself in silence, in the countryside, among cats, or in any train station between Okinawa and Hokkaidō.

Susana Castro

PR & Communication Manager

With her career focused on bringing classical music closer to all audiences, Susana Castro’s relationship with music runs alongside a deep interest in film and literature. She puts forward for a more open, rigorous, and contemporary way of communicating classical music – one that places the artistic experience at the forefront and sparks the audience’s curiosity.

With a background in musicology, sound, and piano, she has developed her career in the fields of communication and audiovisual media. She has served as director of Melómano magazine, where she previously held coordination and managing editor roles. As director of Intercentros Melómano, she has helped consolidate the competition and strengthen its national profile. Nearly a decade devoted to teaching has allowed her to support new generations of musicologists.

Galicia remains her refuge, and she firmly believes in the value—almost militant—of free time.

Gemma Escribano

Image & Media Manager

After more than a decade bringing her eye to the world of classical music, Gemma Escribano is now recognised as one of the leading portrait and editorial photographers within the sector.

Her work with artists such as Teresa Berganza, Joaquín Achúcarro, Lucero Tena, Javier Camarena, Xabier Anduaga, Antón García Abril, and Pablo Heras-Casado, among others, has appeared on pages and covers across all Spanish specialist media, as well as major general-interest outlets including El País, El Mundo, ABC, and La Razón. At the same time, her photographs have illustrated programme books and posters for theatres such as the Metropolitan Opera in New York, the Tokyo Opera, the Royal Opera House in London, the Wiener Staatsoper, and the Bayerische Staatsoper.

A passionate lover of South Korean cultural life, she finds her place among cats, analogue film rolls, bubble teas, or stargazing.

Patricia Millet

Artist Liaison Manager

With a background as a pianist, her career has developed for over a decade between pedagogy, production, and performance. Across these three areas, she firmly believes in the pursuit of a personal truth with no fixed endpoint—one that is continually fed by all forms of art.

Her approach to Ravel, Schubert, and Scriabin has been shaped by mentors such as the Nebolsin family, Noelia Rodiles, and Andrey Yaroshinsky. Alongside her work as a soloist, she develops projects with saxophonist Pedro Pablo Cámara and with Mar Cano-Lasso, with whom she has recorded Schubert’s four-hand music. She is involved in the production of the Festival dels Horts and, since 2025, has launched the Resuena conciertos series, aimed at creating opportunities for young musicians.

In her tireless search for balance, she finds herself among books, walking through forests, or facing the immensity of the sea.

María Valverde

Social Media

Pianist and music communicator, María Valverde is constantly exploring new ways of experiencing classical music. She is behind the Más Allá de las Notas cycle and the multidisciplinary classical-fusion ensemble ConnecTrio. She currently hosts El pentagrama on Radio Clásica and takes part on Cadena SER alongside Juan Carlos Ortega, as well as appearing on various internationally focused podcasts.

She studied at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Castilla y León and at the Franz Liszt Academy in Budapest, and her piano has taken her to stages across Spain, Italy, Hungary, Germany, and Colombia. A former affiliated streamer on Twitch, she also created a viral series of pianist impersonations on Instagram, where she continues to experiment with a wide range of formats.

She enjoys solitary walks while listening to string quartets, reading, and any kind of game that isn’t a shooter.

Fran Parrado

Web Design

Web designer and digital strategist, Fran Parrado did not come to marketing through the usual way. For years, his main tool was not a laptop but a violin – and that artistic mindset continues to shape everything he does, preserving a sense of rhythm, instinct, and a finely tuned eye for what truly resonates -.

He works closely with artists from around the world, as well as with some of Spain’s most important cultural projects and music institutions, building an authentic digital presence and turning visibility into concrete results. Having lived within the artistic world himself allows him to speak its language fluently, designing websites and digital systems built to endure.

Straddling creativity and strategy, and with a slight obsession for doing things properly, Fran sits squarely at the intersection of art, technology, and common sense.
