The Ferrol-born soprano Iria Goti began her musical studies at the conservatory in her hometown, later completing her training at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC), the Royal Academy of Music in London, and finally at the Centre de Perfeccionament of the Palau de les Arts de València, where she worked under the guidance of Enedina Lloris, María Bayo, Marie Vassiliou and Marcus van den Akker.
Among the roles she has already performed are Barbarina (Le nozze di Figaro), Ilia (Idomeneo) and Papagena (Die Zauberflöte) by Mozart, as well as Lesbina in Il filosofo di campagna by Galuppi and Marie in La fille du régiment. She has also sung the roles of Trujamán in El retablo de Maese Pedro and Maguelonne in Cendrillon by Pauline Viardot. In the zarzuela repertoire, she has appeared as La Menegilda in La Gran Vía (Chueca and Valverde) and as Cosette in Bohemios (Vives), both on the stage of the Teatro de la Zarzuela.
Goti has taken part in the Crescendo programme of the Teatro Real and the Zarza of the Teatro de la Zarzuela, and has performed in various recitals organised by the Ópera Actual Foundation. Among the singing competitions in which she has participated, highlights include the First Prize at the V Chamber Music, Voice and Piano Competition of the M.I. Academia de la Música Valenciana (2024), the First Prize at the V National Singing Competition Ciudad de Albacete (2023), and the First Prize at the XI International Singing Competition Germans Pla de Balaguer (2023), among others.
